Fri Sep 24, 1:30 - 3:00 PM (EDT)
Faculty Hub - Third Floor of Boatwright Library
Join the Faculty Hub for our first Field Trip Friday! On September 24, we will explore the Gambles Mill Eco-Corridor (a park-like setting on the southern portion of campus featuring a hiking path, restored stream, and outdoor classroom) with Rob Andrejewski, UR’s Director of Sustainability, and Terry Dolson, Associate Director, Community-Engaged Learning in the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement.

We will begin in the Faculty Hub at 1:30 p.m. with a brief presentation and refreshments. Participants will then travel to the Eco-Corridor (walking with the group or via your own transportation) for a tour and informal discussion about how this space could be used in teaching and scholarship activities. If you wish to start and remain outdoors, you may also meet us at the Eco-Corridor entrance on UR Drive (near the steam plant) at 2:15 p.m.
The Faculty Hub is located on the third floor of Boatwright Library. Direct elevator access is available on the first floor of the Boatwright Library Administrative Wing, across from Room 022.
