Faculty Hub Conversation: Teaching FYS

Wed, Sep 22, 2021, 12:00 – 1:00 PM EDT
Faculty Hub - Third Floor of Boatwright Library

Are you currently teaching an FYS course? Would you like to connect with other FYS instructors, share strategies that are working for you in the classroom, or ask questions and receive feedback from colleagues to help inform your teaching for the rest of the semester? We invite faculty to come together to share knowledge, practices, success stories, and considerations for teaching FYS.

This Faculty Hub Conversation will be co-facilitated by Nicole Maurantonio (Director of Advising, First-Year Seminar, and First- and Second-Year Programming), Libby Gruner (Coordinator of Faculty Development in Teaching), and Kylie Korsnack (Educational Developer) and will be offered on Wednesday, September 22nd from 12-1:00 p.m in the Faculty Hub (3rd Floor of Boatwright Library).

Registration will remain open up until the start of the session.

Can't make this session? A second session will be offered on Zoom on Thursday, September 23rd from 3-4:00p.m. You can also reach out to one of the facilitators to schedule a time to get a recap of the conversation or receive personalized support from a Faculty Hub consultant through an individual consultation.
