Join the Faculty Hub for a workshop on Collaborative Learning Techniques for Teaching FYS. In this session, participants will be introduced to a variety of collaborative learning techniques (Cross, Barkley, Major, 2014) that instructors can use in their classes to engage students in small group discussions, reciprocal teaching, and collaborative writing. Throughout the workshop, participants will also have the opportunity to see and experience several of the techniques in action.

This workshop is open to all instructors, but will focus on techniques that align particularly well with the learning goals of FYS courses.
