Faculty Bird Walk at the Eco-Corridor

Curious about the birds you see on campus? Ever wanted to try birding? Please join the Faculty Hub and Priscilla Erickson (Assistant Professor of Biology) for a bird walk at the Gambles Mill Eco-Corridor on Friday, May 10 at 8:30 a.m.

We will meet at the trailhead of the Eco-Corridor at 8:30 a.m. (entrance off of UR Drive - see location via google maps) and spend an hour learning about birding and identifying the types of birds we spot along the path. Participants should expect to walk about a mile on a paved pathway. Binoculars are encouraged, but not required. No birding experience necessary. We’ll end our birding adventure at the Faculty Hub at 9:45 a.m. for coffee, tea, and light breakfast fare. If you arrive after 8:30, you can find us along the eco-corridor path. (It's also okay if you'd like to skip the birding and just come for breakfast!)
