The tutorial will provide users with a step-by-step guide to various tasks related to connecting to and utilizing Spiderweb, a web-based platform for teaching and research. It will cover a range of topics, beginning with instructions on how to connect from a web browser to Spiderweb, including any necessary login steps. Users will then learn how to access R Studio, an integrated development environment for R, through Posit Workbench, a tool within Spiderweb. Additionally, the tutorial will introduce users to the R Studio management page, where they can configure settings and manage projects.

Users will be guided through the process of creating new projects within R Studio, including specifying project details and settings. Furthermore, the tutorial will cover how to assign existing directories as the location for new projects in R Studio and how to create new directories for projects. It will also provide an overview of the R Studio console, where users can interact with the R programming language, and instructions on how to rename R Studio sessions for better organization. Additionally, users will learn how to share projects with other Spiderweb users and create and edit R scripts within projects. Finally, the tutorial will cover uploading and exporting files in R Studio and introduce users to the terminal window feature for command-line interactions within the Integrated Development Environment.
