Teaching and Scholarship Hub

We are excited to announce our first off-campus writing retreat at Porches Writing Retreat overlooking the James River in Norwood, VA, approximately an hour and 45 minutes away from Richmond. There are four rooms in the main house. Thus, four spaces are available. If we receive more than four registrations, we will have a drawing on Monday, June 9 to determine who will be going.

This retreat will be facilitated by Kitty Maynard, Director of the Faculty Hub. Participants will carpool to Porches. Check-in is at 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, and check-out is on Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m. All meals will be provided, so please note any dietary restrictions.
