An Introduction to Generative AI and Pedagogy
Wed, Aug 20, 2025, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT
Faculty Hub - Third Floor of Boatwright Library

This hands-on workshop offers an accessible introduction to generative AI tools and their implications for teaching and learning. Participants will explore foundational interaction models with large language models (LLMs)—including prompt design and refinement—and then shift to a collaborative session focused on developing or revising course policies that reflect intentional and transparent use of generative AI in the classroom. Designed especially for instructors who are new to generative AI and want to build a strong, practical foundation for classroom use.
