Prepping Your FYS: Strategies for Teaching FYS and Revising Your FYS Syllabus

Are you currently prepping a FYS course for this fall? Would you like to connect with other FYS instructors, brainstorm ideas for learning-focused classroom activities, and get feedback on your syllabus from colleagues? We invite you to join us for a workshop specifically designed for FYS instructors.

This workshop will be split into two sessions with a short break in-between – you are welcome to attend one or both sessions:

  • 1-2-30pm - Strategies for Teaching FYS, including FYS instructor panel
  • 2:30-2:45: Break
  • 2:45-4pm: FYS Syllabus workshop

Lunch will be available at this session. On the registration page, please let us know if you would like us to order you lunch, and if so, let us know of any dietary preferences/restrictions.

Can't make this session but would still like someone to talk with about your FYS? You can schedule a time to get a recap of the workshop and receive personalized support from a Faculty Hub consultant through an individual consultation.
