LMS Transition Bootcamp
This two-day, in-person bootcamp is designed to support faculty as they transition from Blackboard to the University’s new learning management system. Hosted by the Faculty Hub in partnership with campus stakeholders, the bootcamp emphasizes hands-on learning, pedagogical continuity, and practical course-building support.
Rather than a feature-by-feature demo, the bootcamp focuses on helping faculty develop a clear mental model of the new LMS—how it is organized, how it works, and how it can best support their teaching. Participants will actively work in their own course sites throughout the bootcamp, leaving with concrete progress already made.
Before the Bootcamp
Participants will complete a short pre-bootcamp worksheet designed to surface how they currently use Blackboard, which tools and workflows matter most for their pedagogy, and where they anticipate challenges or opportunities in the transition.
