Inclusive Partners Intro Workshop (for Faculty / Staff)
Join the Faculty Hub and the Student Hub for Inclusion and Community for the Inclusive Partner Intro Workshop.
This introductory workshop lays the foundation of the inclusive partners program with general knowledge, basic practices, and helpful tips for participants. The intro workshop is ideal for professionals looking for a starting point in their development as inclusive practitioners, or for those who want to become more comfortable engaging with topics related to inclusion.
This intro workshop fulfills the first requirement that participants need to begin earning credit towards the Inclusive Partners Certificate.
What is the Inclusive Partners Certificate Program?
The Inclusive Partner Certificate Program gives faculty and staff the opportunity to build and maintain a personal toolkit of inclusive practices they can use to support their colleagues and students. Individual workshops scheduled throughout the year are available to all faculty and staff. You can find more information about the program by visiting the Hub for Student Inclusive & Community's website.
This intro workshop will be facilitated by Dani Dho-Roberts (Associate Director, Hub for Student Inclusion & Community) and will take place on Thursday, September 10 from 3:30-4:45pm in the Faculty Hub.
This will be the first part of a series of faculty/instructional staff-focused workshops this semester that will all count towards the Inclusive Partner Certificate. Choose a single-workshop that is of interest to you or join us for the entire series!
