Join Joan Saab, Provost, and Jennifer Stancil, Assistant Vice President for Foundation, Corporate, and Government Relations, for a conversation on the evolving landscape of external funding for faculty and staff research. This session will provide an overview of federal funding at UR, highlight challenges in a shifting funding environment, and discuss institutional resources available to support grant-seeking efforts. Whether you are actively applying for grants, exploring future opportunities, or simply interested in how these changes impact research and scholarship at the university, this discussion will provide valuable context and insights.

There will be two sessions of this event. The first, on Zoom, will take place on Tuesday, March 18, from 9:00-9:30 am. The second will be held in person in the Faculty Hub on Friday, April 11 from 1:00-1:30 pm.
